While the University of Washington has become one of the nation’s finest academic institutions, especially for those pursuing degrees in computer science, music, biochemical research, and medicine, what’s known locally as the U-District triggers images of college kids on the prowl and run down rental houses.

For the young, the still youthful, and even the ‘something over 39’ crowd, condos in the U-District provide one of the best opportunities to live life to its fullest whether you’re in class or outclassed. And what could be more enlightening than chatting over an espresso with teenagers three times as smart as you’d ever want to be? |
